A Wet Finale
With no doubt, the best known band at this
eightest edition of the Proms was Wet Wet Wet. The boys showed they
easely
could keep up in the sphere of joy and loud community singing.
To be honest: the enthusiasm of leadsinger
Marti Pellow made their contribution to a sensation.
Wet Wet Wet performed their most well-known
songs, such as Angel Eyes, Maybe I’m In Love, Sweet Little Mystery,
Julia
Say's and Love Is All Around.

Higher
level lowers ‘Proms’ join-in standard
In the second part
the audience again had to be patient until they could rid of their
vocal
energy.
The fact that the
final act Wet Wet Wet scored more decibels, not only was caused by the
dead certain stage-effect ‘Love Is All Around’. But surely was caused
too,
by the cunning played charmes of frontman Marti pellow, who made his
dripping
Glasgows accent (as he speaks) to a second trade-mark beside his
‘golden
smile’.

Steamy,
not cooking
Wet Wet Wet, Lisa
Stansfield and Mark King certainly prove their reputation;
Lisa with her powerful
voice, King with his magic bass-thumb, and Wet’s Marti Pellow with his
charisma.
But even with steamy
songs they couldn’t get the masses in the sportpalace really at their
boiling-point.
Presumable the too short sets were debet on that fact, becouse
everybody
did feel like it: as well as the shouting crowd as the sweaty solists.
It was obvious they were not happy to close down after such a short
part
of show.
